Will the output look realistic, or obviously AI?

Fashion and product imagery is the hardest category to get right, so the models are tuned for it: garment texture, folds, and lighting adapt to the pose, and product details are preserved. Quality scales with input quality and a clear prompt. The interactive docs and the dashboard Try Now console let you judge results on your own images before you commit.

Does it keep my product accurate, including logos, text, and patterns?

Yes, that is a core focus. Endpoints expose controls like has_product, has_text, and tone_correction so logos, labels, prints, and colors stay faithful while the rest of the scene changes. For exact product fidelity, pass a clean, high-resolution source image.

Can I keep the same model identity across a whole campaign?

Yes. Create an identity profile once, then reference it across generations so the same face stays consistent. Identity lock, faceswap, and replace are built on the same idea, so one model can carry a full lookbook or campaign.

What image inputs and formats does it accept?

Accepted Answer

Image endpoints take a public URL for each input image (for example input_image, person_image, source). PNG, JPEG, and WebP are supported, and you choose the output format per request (webp, jpeg, or png). Higher-resolution inputs give better results.

How do I authenticate?

From the browser, use a Clerk-issued bearer token. Server-to-server, send an API key in the X-API-Key header. Full details are in the authentication docs.

Is generation synchronous or asynchronous?

Asynchronous. You send a POST to start a job and get back a job_id, then either poll its status endpoint or receive a webhook when the render completes. Every endpoint works this same way, so one integration pattern covers the whole API.

Which languages and SDKs are supported?

The API is callable from any language over HTTPS, with typed Python and JavaScript or TypeScript SDKs for a drop-in integration. There is also an interactive API reference with a Try it console for every endpoint.

How fast is it, and are there rate limits?

Most image jobs return in seconds; video and 3D take longer because they do more work. Each plan has its own rate limits, which you can see in the dashboard, and Enterprise raises them with priority GPUs. The async job model means long-running renders never block your request.

How do I handle errors and retries?

Errors return clear, typed codes (for example INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS) rather than failing silently, so you can branch on them. Because jobs are async and idempotent to submit, retries are straightforward. See the errors reference for the full list.

Yes. Each step returns a result_url you can pass into the next, for example Generate to Background to Upscale. Same async job model end to end, so pipelines are easy to compose.

No. Inputs and outputs are processed to complete the job and are not retained afterwards. We do not build a library of your content.

Who owns the output, and can I use it commercially?

You do. Every render ships with a commercial license and embedded C2PA provenance so the asset is traceable and safe to publish. Enterprise adds full IP indemnification so your legal team can sign off with confidence.

Yes. We offer a Data Processing Agreement and publish our list of subprocessors, and our security and responsible AI policies are available in the legal pages. Enterprise customers can sign a DPA as part of onboarding.

Identity features are intended for models and people you have the rights to use. Outputs carry C2PA provenance, and our acceptable use and responsible AI policies set out what is and is not allowed.

Pro is $199 per month and Studio is $499 per month, with a custom Enterprise tier. Pick monthly or yearly billing (yearly is two months free). One credit is roughly one successful generation. Editing and background operations cost less, video and 3D cost more, and failed jobs are never charged.

Requests that would exceed your balance return a clear INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS error rather than failing silently. You can upgrade your plan or top up at any time from the dashboard.
